Real talk-stretch marks. Does anything help??

I am only 5 feet tall for anyone who follows me you  already know 🥲 but I’m wondering if anyone has advice for stretch marks or if anything actually helps keep them at bay??

With my first child I was worried about getting stretch Marks so I religiously applied bio oil. Lol. I only got 1 small stretch march from my belly button ring to my bellybutton.  This time around I've been lazy and haven't applied oil and last week at 13.5 weeks I saw 2 on my stomach. I should have been applying!! I was also better about drinking water last time around so now I'm upping my water intake and applying bio oil daily!!

It really seems to vary woman to woman. And even body part to body part!
I’m just north of you at 5’1” and started using Burt’s Bees MamaBee butter on my belly and breasts after every shower with my first pregnancy once things started stretching (maybe beginning of 2nd trimester?). I’m really averse to lotion for some reason, but I didn’t mind this stuff. I didn’t notice a single stretch mark during pregnancy. However, right after birth, my belly was still completely clear (and I gained 40 pounds during the pregnancy!), but I got SIGNIFICANT ones on my breasts. They’ve mostly faded over time but you can still see them.
