Over feeding? How to stop?

My daughter is two weeks old and eat 4-8 oz every 2-3 hours it says at her age they are supposed to have 1-2 oz every 2-3 hours but when I wake her up to feed she is never satisfied with that amount she is constantly eating 4-8 oz and then is satisfied I don’t know how to stop or what to do she is constipated

Why is she even getting offered that much? If she’s crying it’s not due to hunger. She’s two weeks old so u just have to try to figure out how to sooth her in other forms aside from milk because she’s getting way over fed. Does baby nurse? U can allow the baby to nurse as often as they want, which can be ALL the time with a newborn. Just let baby nurse if possible instead of giving bottles.

I would do this and ymmv:
If she gets 4oz every 2-3hrs…
Split the 4oz into multiple bottles. I’d do 1 1/3oz each bottle. Then slowly take one bottle away and see how she does. 
So maybe this week she gets 1 1/3 over 3hrs and next week she gets 1oz per. On and so on.
Now I could be wrong but you want to shrink her stomach slowly and yet keep up her calories too. If you just cut down cold turkey, it could cause more harm than good.

Wow!! Yea way way too much. This is where pace feeding is VERY important!! And not to mix up other issues with hunger cues. Over feeding can easily cause stomach pains which result with crying and making parent think baby is still hungry. 
Breastmilk should only be 1-1.25oz per hour. That’s it.

I promise you if your 2 week old is getting 8 ounces a feeding you’re in the track for not good things and something else is wrong. The baby doesn’t even understand hunger yet. Have you tried gas drops? I had to give them before a feed. Work with your doctor but this is not good sis.
