Born 35 weeks?

Question

Anyone have babies born around 35 weeks? My water naturally broke and is breaking slowly. I’m in antenatal with IV antibiotics and steroid shots and kind of concerned. Hoping for the best!

Yupp! I had my girl at 35+3! She was in the nicu for 7 days! She’s currently 4 weeks and thriving! 
My water broke from my cerclage ripping! I was 5cm and had a quick surgery to remove the broken stitches. Labored quickly. From water breaking to her being born was 12 hours. 
She lost almost a full pound within those 7 days in nicu. She regained to birth weight by 2 weeks. She was a pound over birth weight by 4 weeks.

Yes, my water broke at 35wk 2 days. I had to have a C section because she was breech, but she was perfectly fine and healthy. Spent just a couple hours in the NICU to monitor her but otherwise she was fine. Small, obviously and had to be fed donor milk at first, but she’s a healthy 2 and half year old now

My first born was born at 35weeks and 4 days after my water broke at 35weeks and the nurses delayed my contractions by giving me painkiller And antibiotics until 35weeks and 4days. He spent two days in NICU and then another week with me in hospital for jaundice. My 2nd born recently came at 36weeks and 4days and he was fine, just has jaundice and we spent 2days in hospital. It was stressful with my first born but everything worked out fine.

My first was born at 35w about 5 years ago. They didn’t try to keep me pregnant though due to the risk of infection. She did need bili lights but no nicu time and went home with us at 48h

Yes! I had my baby at 36 weeks. She weighed 4lbs5oz and didn’t require any Nicu time.

My son was born at 34 weeks exactly, my water broke in the middle of the night and he was out in under 2 hours via emergency C-section because he was full footing breech and couldn’t be delivered vaginally. He spent 5 weeks in the NICU but he is just over a year old now and is wonderfully happy and healthy. You’ve got this, mama!

I’ve had two born at 35 weeks. One was home the next day the other a week in the nicu. Both I was able to get the steroid shot to develop their lungs faster before they were born

Hey! How did you know your waters were breaking slowly? Like what was it like/the experience? I'm only asking cos i'm 35 weeks and tonight i've lost fluid a few times but wasn't sure if it was bath water as id just been in the bath but i left it a good half hour and i'd wet my pants so not sure..

I just had an emergency c-section last night at 36+2 due to placental abruption (complication due to having Covid). Baby is currently in the NICU but doing very well, he just needed a little help with oxygen and had some fluid in his lungs. But he’s very calm and sleeping a lot, like he needs to. I just wish they weren’t keeping him from me, I keep asking to see him or at least lest my mom visit him while I can’t since she’s Covid negative but they keep giving me the rubbish reason of “hospital policy.”
