What did you do with your wedding gown?

Hi lovelies. What did you ladies do with your wedding gown after your wedding? Keep or sold it? I’ve had mine stored away for 5 years now, I want to keep it for my daughter but my sister is saying that keeping it for my daughter is too old fashioned?

I gave mine first dress to a  second hand store because so many women out there that are looking for dresses that were similar to my dress I gave it to a second hand store  they sold it for $500. I got $400 back an the store got a hundred. I even got a written letter from the woman who bought it . How grateful she was because she apparently she  had two weeks before her wedding . She found out she was pregnant. The dress I gave the store fit her a  baby bump. second dress I have put away in the bedroom so I can renew my vows in 5 years.

I had it cleaned and stored so if I have a daughter one day, I can pass it on to her and she can do what she wants with it. I used my grandmas wedding dress and made my veil, a baptism dress for a future daughter and a pillow that I gave to my grandma. So she doesn’t have to necessarily wear it, but she can use it in so many different ways.
