Separate bank accounts

I gave birth to my son 8 weeks ago, so I am still on maternity leave until I am medically cleared by my ob next week. My boyfriend asked me to quit my job to stay home with the kids. He has two 6 and three, then we have our 8 week old. I was contemplating it until yesterday. I realized he had created a new checking account in his name alone. When I asked him about it he said he did that because I have my own checking account from before we were together. Now, when I was working $100 from my checks went into my account for internet and music but the rest went into our joint account. But the entirety of his check is going into his account. Yet, he still expects me to pay all of the bills, drive his kids around, have food at the house, and everything else that revolves around money. Now, I guess I just need to know what any other stay at home parent would do.

I should add, the only reason I don’t close my checking account is because I can’t. I have a loan that is directly pulled every month from that account because of him for bail money.
