I was having back contractions all day and didn’t think anything of them. Later in the night they were about 6-7 minutes apart, until all of a sudden they were 2 minutes apart and my water

broke!!!

We rushed to the hospital (of course the gas light was on so we had to stop and get gas) and when we got there they said I was 9-9.5 cm dilated! They tried to get me an epidural but by that point I was feeling so much pressure we all decided it was better to focus on pushing.

We got to the hospital at 12:00 am and Maddox Beau was born at 1:02 am!!! 6 lb 9 oz

So crazy and so unexpected and scary to think how we barely made it!
