Another one?!

Question

As we all know our babies grow much too quickly!! My son just turned one and a half and I feel like I JUST had him. it’s making me want to try for my baby girl for sure.. I am currently on bc & I’m just not sure if now is the right time. I feel like even trying to bring it up as a serious topic to my other would make him probably want to faint. 🥲😭 
-when did you ladies know it was the right time to try for baby #2. How did you know you really were ready?

I got pregnant with this baby (currently 39 weeks pregnant) when my daughter was 11 months old. 
Originally we wanted to wait a little longer but my partner is 13 years older than me and has an older son from a previous relationship and even though he lives with us, he didn't really want much to do with our daughter. We didn't want that again for our daughter so we said that as we know we both want another one that we might as well just go for it. 
I came off the pill and we conceived our second daughter approximately 18 days later 🥳 
We have talked about trying for a little boy together in a couple years time but as I'm going back to college next year to retrain as a midwife, we have said that if it happens then great, if not then we still have two girls together and his son with us too.

I was ready when our daughter was 6 months old but my husband wanted to wait. Once she was 1 year he said he was ready to start trying for another. Ended up taking 4 years to get pregnant with our second. We decided not to try but not be careful after he was born since it took so long to conceive him. Got pregnant with baby #3 when he was 8months but unfortunately had ended in miscarriage, had another miscarriage after that one so still trying for #3. Our second will be 2 in November. Just bring it up to him, who know maybe he will surprise you and be ready to start trying too! And your son is so stinking cute!

For us, trying for number 2 after our som turned 1 was always the plan - we wanted them close-ish in age and didn’t know how ling conceiving would take. The pandemic got in the way for a while and then it took a while to get pregnant (had a few early losses) so we’ve ended up with a one month old little girl and a little boy who turns 3 in a month. It’s a really nice gap. 
We’re on the fence about baby 3, but figured we’ll keep to the same timeframe - have a discussion in a year about how we feel, and start trying if that’s what we want. But I’ll be going back to work next August, and our lease is up then so we’ll be moving house - timing will be a little trickier.

I got pregnant with my 2nd just weeks before my oldest first birthday. I told him that night if he didn't use something I would. I wasn't worried about it. If it happened it did. I wanted them close in age. It did. 
My 3rd was a bad time bad situation I have no idea when I got pregnant with him. Or how.
My 4th was a surprise. I was divorced at this point. Met someone new we decided in a year we would try for another one. It happen sooner than a year but it is what it is.
This one I was done did not want anymore, to old to have anymore, enjoying my kids. Did everything to prevent it from happening. And surprise happy fathers day I am pregnant.
