So my 5 week old baby had a temperature between 99-100.2 yesterday morning. In the afternoon it went down but started up again a few hours later so we took her to the ER. they basically did nothing and just said come back if it’s over 100.4 twice in an hour. Today her temp is running between 98.6-100.0 but she’s also vomiting 2-5 times immediately after each feeding. She is a pukey baby anyway but never this bad. We switched her formula yesterday morning but when she started puking so much the doctor advised us to go back to the previous one. I understand this would cause stomach upset but not the fluctuation in temperature. I would not hesitate to take her back to the ER but the wait is long and I have kids at home. Plus all of the germs at the hospital. Can anyone share what they would do?? I’m desperate.
