Two MC in Two months: what should I ask the doctor?

Gretchen

We've had back to back pregnancies...and miscarriages all in week four. One was a standard chemical, lines got lighter and by day two of my missed period I started bleeding. The 2nd time has been harder, my lines got dark, I completely missed my period and had all the symptoms starting up and then two days before I hit five weeks I bled.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for an ultrasound to verify I miscarried and to discuss the losses, what should I keep in mind? What should I ask? This is our first time trying for a baby.

I have in the past been told I am deficient in vitamins and salt with low blood sugar, but we addressed that and I'm on suppliments/dietary changes. I've also had autoimmune issues in the past (by a few years) but saw a rheumatologist before getting pregnant who said my blood work came back normal and that Im either in remission or it was just stress from college.

Honestly my only fear is that I'll be told they have nothing they can do, and I'll have to have another loss in order to get any tests. Even if this was an unfortunate fluke of nature, I feel like two losses is enough for at least bloodwork right?
