Can your water break without you having labor pains?

I’m 36 weeks and I just had a trickling of fluid. I haven’t had anything signaling labor at all. No pains or anything. Could it be urine? It doesn’t smell like pee. Is there a way to tell?

I did with my first - it ruptured. I had an upset stomach that day but not contractions. I thought it was something because when I would lay down and then stand up a bit later it would feel like a gush of liquid.
I went to bed and woke up the next morning with cramping, not super painful. I honestly only went to hospital because I started having a little bleeding and I couldn’t feel her move (with NEVER happened with her - she was always moving!). Turns out my water ruptured the night before and they gave me pitocin to jumpstart labor and then the real contractions and pain kicked in.

My waters broke twice before going into labour 1st time I went into labour about 5 hours later 2nd time I lost my waters at 24 weeks but didn’t have the baby until 27 weeks ❤️❤️💙💙

My water punctured so it was only a little bit. And I would feel like a small gush and thought I peed myself the first time it happened because it was so little and then when it happened a second time I knew my water had broken. Soon after, contractions started but otherwise no signs of labor before.

Yes. My water broke & i had no pain at all. But the longer i went the stronger the water leaked up until it was gushing (: (within hours)
