Should I give him a Chance

I think this guy likes me. This is all pretty hypothetical, but he’s very nice and funny. I don’t have feeling for him though. If he should ask me out, should I give him a chance and see it feelings come, or would that be cruel for if I do end up still not having feelings for him.
