Painful ovulation

Has anyone else experienced painful ovulation while taking Letrozole??

So usually I do Letrozole and trigger shot with timed intercourse but this cycle we didn’t do the trigger due to my husband being out of town. My doctor let me ovulate on my own and the days leading up to me ovulating I was cramping a lot and was really tender to touch on my right ovary where my dominant follicle was. But then as soon as I ovulated all of that was gone.
