Has anyone supplemented with formula?

Question

My milk supply is still low. He’s eating 3 times at daycare but I can only make enough for two 4.5 bags. 
I wanted to get some advice or experience on half breast milk and half formula bottles for daycare. 
Also what recommendations y’all have for formula. He does have a sensitive tummy.

We used this with our first born and our may baby gets a bottle of this every night before bed (otherwise all breastmilk). If I were doing half and half I would just do some formula bottles and some breastmilk to make it easier on you.

Try adding supplements!! Use fenugreek and legendary milk liquid gold. You will see an increase of supply in as little as 1 day! Note that when you first start fenugreek, it does give you a little upset tummy but once you take it a few days it goes away, it’s just an adjustment. I would highly recommend fenugreek as a primary source of increase but adding in the legendary milk supplement adds a little extra too and can make a huge difference. 
As for formula supplementing, similac and enfamil both have formula for sensitive tummy’s and both are well regarded in the formula products. You can get the ready feed 2oz bottles or 8oz bottles if you only need a little bit. Or there is the powder. You can mix it with your breast milk or do one bottle breast milk and one bottle formula. When we were supplementing, that’s what we did, made one full bottle formula and the others full breast milk. Even if we were only short 1-2oz, making a full formula bottle for 1 feeding helped push the breastmilk supply along. I also keep leftover breastmilk (on the rare occasion she doesn’t drink it all) so this let me do that by not mixing. I don’t keep leftover formula if any were leftover. 
So I would say, get some supplements and until your supply goes up, use some ready feed formula. Also, make sure your flange is the right size and you are doing breast compressions. I thought I was a 21mm and started using that but it turns out I’m 25mm and I got so much more milk when I used the correct size.

I started supplementing with formula recently because my supply can’t keep up. I nurse or pump and bottle feed in the morning. My supply will drop in the afternoon so I do every other feeding with formula. Usually works out to be 2 bottles a day. My LO also has a sensitive stomach but handles the formula well. I use simulac sensitive formula, he actually spits up less with it than he does breast milk.

We’re supplementing with hypoallergenic formula cause my son has CMPI and was slow to gain weight. I’m exclusively pumping and make enough, so I’m freezer stashing extra. I’ve been taking Legendairy Milk supplements and I think it’s helping maintain my supply!
