So what do you guys think of this situation?
So one of my co-workers went out of town for a few days she was partying and drinking having a good time with her friends and it was alott of people she was around. She came back to work and she was telling me how much fun she had and that she didn’t want to leave. Upon her explaining her trip I realized her voice was partially gone and she was saying she neglected her body while she was away she was drinking so much staying out until 4am and waking up at 8am to do it all over again. She had no mask while she was away. So the first day she came back was her voice being partially gone I just thought oh yeah you was having a good time! But the second day she was back she looked sick af! When I seen her I said hey are you okay? Are you sick? She said I feel fine ( I honestly thought she was saying that so I wouldn’t think she had Covid)Her nose was runny, eyes glossy, and kept coughing and I mentioned maybe you should take the day off because if you’re sick it’s not good to be around the residents like that. She kept saying I’m fine. We work with the elderly. And the day before she ask me you think I should get covid test done and I said yes if you feel like you have it I see why not. It was a few elderly people who got covid and died at my job so I just wish she stayed home if she felt like she had it. But it could be just a minor cold but still she could have stayed home because I didn’t see one time she washed her hands after constantly blowing her nose. But she never got the covid test done even after she ask me did I think she should get it to make sure. I just hope it’s just a minor cold. I didn’t want her to feel like she was embarrassed to say whether or not she have it and I think she was scared to see if she did have it. I wasn’t judging her I want her to get better and keep everyone else safe as well.
