Round ligament pain - how long does it last?

Hi!

I am about 20 weeks pregnant and last night in the middle of the night experienced sharp pain on my lower left side (like where my bump would star from my pelvic bone up around the side). I think I might have turned over too quickly. Anyways, I finally got comfortable but the pain is still there. It’s bearable when standing, but sitting is uncomfortable. Could this be round ligament pain!? For some reason I thought it was short spasms, but could it be prolonged? Any of you have experienced with this?
