Does having 2 kids get easier??

Please tell me it does. I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old and my head is just spinning every day. I feel like I can barely keep food in the house, barely remember to brush my toddlers teeth, he watches so much tv is embarrassing, my house is always a mess, I feel like I yell all the time. I feel so overwhelmed and over stimulated constantly. When does it get easier?

It's never easy with a newborn, and a toddler to the mix is just making it harder. It does get better. Until it does get better, remember to get help and ask for just small breaks. You need to recharge as well! 😊

As the infant gets older things will get easier. Also once your oldest starts school. Mine are 3 and 5 now and the first year or so was tough. As your youngest becomes more independent it will get easier. Now that my oldest is in school and I get 5 hours/day with just one child I feel like I can start to catch up on things that I simply haven’t been able to get done in years.

I'm sure it gets easier.. right now I have an almost 3 year old and a newborn and it's bonkers in my house hold 😬😬😬 my toddler loves her baby sister, and she's sooooo sweet to her, but she's also acting out a lot more. I'm talking back talking, pterodactyl screaming, not listening. Let me tell you this girl has been going in time out a lot lately. maybe it's an age thing, maybe it's just a stage I'm hoping she will grow out of.. is this normal for the three ager stage? Idk... but I'll pray for you if you pray for me 😂

It got easier when my baby was 5-6 months and sitting up and crawling. Her brother who was 2 at the time would play with her while I did things. I’d do dishes and keep an eye on them. Or I’d baby wear. They’re now 2 and 4 and it’s so much better, either that or I got used to having 2.

Search for Mother’s Day Out programs in your neighborhood for 2-3 days a week where your 3 year old is in school 9-2 or 8:30-1:30.
Or you could hire a mother’s helper to come during your most challenging time of day a few days a week. You could call a church and ask if they have any young girls in college that might want to do that for minimum wage.

It does once you find your groove 
Had my newborn March 2020 and in April my oldest turned 2. 
Put them both on the same napping schedule 
Get sleep when they sleep 
Explain to your husband that the house may always not be clean laundry may not always be done right now you’re just in survival mode until you get a groove going plus you’re still healing 
Also explain to your husband you may need some help with your toddler when he gets home from work etc. communication is key. 
Remember it’s ok to not be super mom wife etc 24/7 YOU matter too.

I have same age gap kids and I felt exactly like you . now they are 4 year and 15 month old, I am enjoyingeach moment watching them play, fight love each other, my home is still a mess always and but I can say things got much better after my baby was 8months.

My kids are 3 and 6 and it hasn't gotten easier but the challenges have changed. Frankly anyone who says parenthood gets easier is a big fat smelly liar.
