Is it normal to have 2 periods in a month?

My period just ended, less than 2 weeks ago.
My cycles were getting longer and a little bit irregular (4 to 5 weeks between periods).  I went to an obgyn and they did a Pap and an Ultrasound and everything came back ok. 
I started spotting yesterday, today bleeding on and off, lightly. 
Has this ever happened to anyone else???? 🤨🤨

I had that issue years ago. Sometimes I would have two periods in one month, then nothing for a month and a half, then a regular cycle . . . The issue for me was endometriosis. It's worth checking with your doctor to see what's up.

It could just be some mid-cycle spotting. In my twenties I never spotted in between periods, then I hit 30 and almost every month around my “ovulation time” I have a couple of days of spotting. It can be totally normal.

Yes it can be. How many days in your cycle- from day one of your period to day before the next? Your period is on a cycle- not by the month.

I have light bleeding with ovulation, which means I bleed about twice a month. My doctor said it is not an issue.

Your cycle will always have its moments. No matter how consistent it may be. It will always just have its own emotional breakdown

I have the same problem once in a while.  the doctor I used to see for it mainly said that it was pretty much my body release two eggs at different times in one cycle turns into you having two different periods.
