Question for medical lab techs
I’m wanting to become a medical lab technician but I’m unsure how to go about that. The community college that I’m wanting to attend only offers a pre-clinical lab science pathway and I would transfer to a university afterwards to complete a bachelors degree. However, I wasn’t really planning on getting a bachelors to become a technologist, I was just wanting an associates degree to be a technician. Is it possible that I could complete the 2 year degree at the community college and then skip transferring to a university and just enroll into a MLT certification program? And if I did decide to transfer to a university to get a bachelors, would I have to complete a certification afterwards as well? I’m just a little confused because the college website isn’t very informative
