When is the best time to take an ovulation test?

When would be the best time of day to take an ovulation test? Morning, afternoon, or evening? Which would make it more accurate, I’ve been winging it the last few months with no luck and no baby :( starting OPKS after period, I’m hoping this works!

I use one opk a day until I reach about cycle day 10. Then start testing twice a day. 
You should be using a basal cell thermometer though, because opk alone won't confirm ovulation if youre not having your progesterone checked or an ultrasound to confirm you have ovulated.
Ovulation strips only confirm a rise in LH. Which indicates ovulation is coming but you can have a rise and not ovulate.
