Brownish red spotting for days?

I have been having spotting for about a week now it started off brown really brown an then it went to like a slight reddish color? It only comes out really when i push like when i have a bm. So i took a test to see if it’s getting lighter and clearly it’s still positive so i don’t understand why i have so much spotting then ? Anyone else have this happen to them?
