Which sounds better? (Please read)

Without taking into account pay, which job sounds better schedule/time off wise?

Teacher:

-10 sick days

-3 personal days

-3 days off at Thanksgiving

-2 weeks off at Christmas

-1 week off for spring break

-~10 weeks off for summer vacation

-During school year, work 50+ hrs/week and can’t ever leave anything at home because of lesson planning/grading/etc.

-Contract hours are Monday-Friday 7:15am-3pm

Nurse:

-work 3 days a week, 12 hr shifts, 6am-6pm. Don’t have to take work home or do planning

-can get 8 days off in a row just by self-scheduling a certain way (working 3 days at the beginning of the first week and 3 days at the end of the second week) without having to use any PTO

-20 days PTO (6-7 weeks off)

-mandatory weekends every other weekend, so the days you work each week will always change

-have to work some holidays

-can travel during “off” seasons
