So my bf and I were going to have sex (Aug 27) but there was no penetraction ( he rubbed against my clit for about 15 seconds , we were interrupte and had to stop). He wasn't wearing a condom but I am on birth control and take it at the same time everyday.

I started breakthrough bleeding on September 1 , three days before my period was to come. I took my placebo pills and my period came when it was supposed to but it ended about three days early. I continued taking the placebo pills I had left and then started my next pack on time.

Is this normal? Am I okay ?

Side Note : I had skipped a period prior to this using my birth control and skipping to the next pack. ( was going out of town and didn't want to deal with my period) .
