How did you handle it?

So I’m curious how it was for you second time moms when bringing your baby home. How was your healing process while taking care of another child? How did you handle it mentally with PPD/PPA? Was is it easier than the first time? I’m due in February with #2. I have a 3 year old girl. There is a possibility I’ll have to have a c section. I delivered vaginally with my first so if I do have a csection, that’ll be different for sure. I also had terrible PPD with my first. My parents should be here to help and of course my husband will be helping. I just hope most of all that I can keep it together mentally for my 3 year old and newborn, of course. I plan on breast feeding again. I am just curious of how it all was for you second time moms so I can somewhat mentally prepare!
