Safe for uti while pregnant?? Please help!

I’m 13 weeks pregnant and I have a UTI and I was wondering if this is safe to take while pregnant my doctor won’t answer and I can’t get in till Tuesday I only took the recommended dose which is 2 tablets should me and my unborn baby be fine im really anxious

What is the active ingredient? phenazopyridine, the active ingredient in regular AZO is in category B for safety. So it is typically considered safe to take when needed. I’m unsure if this is the same drug or if it is something else. Regardless, nothing OTC is going to cure a UTI. You should go to a walk in clinic before Tuesday to get an antibiotic. They’re dangerous when going untreated, especially in pregnancy.

You should not be taking anything without approval. Go to am urgent care or a walk in clinic, a UTI can't wait 4 days.

I agree to go to a walk in clinic or urgent care! Or see if you can do a tele health visit. 
Otherwise I’d ask a pharmacist or call your doctors triage line and ask about this medication.

See if you can do telehealth or a CVS clinic ! I did that when i found out i was pregnant and had a UTI. Obviously make sure you tell them you’re pregnant. You need antibiotics stat. Don’t mess around with a UTI.
