Lotrisone?

Jessica - FTM 3 Year Old Daughter

My daughter who is 17 months was prescribed Lotrisone for her rash/yeast infection. I had to deal with a lot of bs to finally get this prescription 20 min before the pharmacy closed until Monday. I read the paper work that came with the medication. Well it says not for anyone under 17 years old and not for use with a diaper. It is not for treatment on diaper rashes. I did some further research and apparently its a pretty strong steroid, which can potentially lead to problems down the road. Now both doctors office and her pharmacy is closed till monday.

I have no idea if I should use it or not. I mean her doctor wouldn't prescribe her something that would potentially hurt her right? Am I being a paranoid first time momma?

What would you do in this situation?

Any experience?
