What to do with your newborn?

Probably a stupid question, but what do you all do with your newborns all day? My girl is 2 weeks and 4 days and likes to sleep a lot. We’re trying to switch her schedule a little so she’s awake more during the day and sleeps more at night. But what do you do with your newborn all day?!

I’m a second time mom and my girl was sleepy for the first 4 weeks. She would sleep eat get a diaper change but go right back down. Eventually newborns will “wake up” as they call it, around 3-4 weeks. They’re growing and experiencing leaps so will be more alert and up more during the day. My girl is now almost 8 weeks now and we are on a flexible routine that follows the same pattern. Sleep, eat, awake time. Tummy time and talking to her are what we do.
