Well it looks like I will be induced this coming Monday. My cervix is measuring 1 cm for the last week or two and I’m 30% effaced. I could have had my membranes swept but decided it probably wasn’t worth all the extra pain it would cause me. I’m already having horrible low abdominal cramping (like stabbing pains) and contractions/ tightening in my upper stomach. I also have a ton of rectal pressure. I’m not sure how much longer I can handle feeling this discomfort and pain. Is this even normal?? Anyone else having such awful pain to the point it takes your breath away?? It makes me cringe. 😬 After. They checked my cervix today I had a hard time walking and my rectal pressure began. I feel like I’m totally inflamed up inside.
