Does your baby respond to their name 100% of the time?

I say yes because at the same time mine definitely know how to ignore you when he wants and I be like you hear me calling you yet he will still smile acting like he doesn’t hear me talking to him 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m actually surprised by the number of yes responses. 
My baby will respond to her name pretty much all of the time if I’m walking into the room calling her name after being elsewhere or if I’m calling from the kitchen to the (open plan) living room for example.
If I say her name while I’m already in the same room, she responds the majority of the time but there are times when she’s distracted (usually by her loud and exciting older brother!) so I wouldn’t say it’s 100%.
