HELP!!!

My 2 yo. Has his first ear infection. He was moody and upset naturally butée were prescribe Amoxicillin and I feel like ever since he started on it he’s been crazy!!! He has been super cranky and angry at everything (tantrums, hitting, throwing etc). Last night he woke up at midnight and was so upset he was ripping all his books off the shelf and was rolling on the floor crying, I ended up having to rock with him for a bit just to get him to calm down. He’s normally super cuddly and sweet, but I didn’t see anything about behavior changes as a side effect…has anyone else felt with this? Or is this just a massive low in terrible twos????
