What to eat before induction (night and morning?)

What to eat the night before induction and the morning of induction?
Also during induction process if it last for 2 to 3 days, what type of food to eat or you cannot eat?

I ate rice with shrimp an hour before going to the hospital because that's what baby was craving but I regretted it quickly because I didn't know that you couldn't eat until baby was out. I was in labor for 17 hours and couldn't eat anything 😩

Carb load like you’re getting ready for a marathon… drink water till you can’t anymore. Normally with a hospital induction, they won’t let you eat after they admit you. Some places are slowly changing those rules, my midwives personally encouraged me to bring snacks that I liked and would give me energy to the hospital. Most of the time during active labour, you won’t think to eat or feel hungry because your digestive system slows way down and you’re not really in the headspace to think about food. In early labour and before labour though it’s best to prepare and try to give yourself as much energy and nutrition as possible to get your body through it.

Carbs are good for energy.
Obviously it depends on the hospital. I wasn't allowed anything but ice chips with my 1st. so I went 14 hours without food. Threw up during labor so probably a good thing for me (I had morning sickness the whole time)

I ate all of the food at Olive Garden the night before my last because I knew I was cut off once they started 😂 It was so worth it
