Cold remedies ?

Hi everyone, 
I am suffering with a cold :(. Any one have any insight on how to best get rid of this quickly? The cough is the worst part as it’s making it hard to sleep. 
Any OTC medicines I can take? Robitussin is not doing the job lol 
Any help is appreciated!

I had a cold not too long ago. I never took anything just because I don’t take medicine while pregnant. Hot showers truly did give me some relief. I also don’t think there’s anything that’ll shorten it and unfortunately since we’re pregnant it takes it’s time to run it’s course. I was sick for 12 days.

Made a smoothie every morning - frozen fruit, banana, honey, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cayenne, water. Then had the Olly immunity gummy vitamins (take 3) once a day. Was sick for 2.5 days then perfectly fine!

This was me last month, with a sinus infection. I did nasal rinses in the morning and night, tried some sort of approved robitussin for a cough (couldn’t really tell that it helped), and then did lots of essential oil diffusers, applied some topically, Vick’s on the chest and feet... it was awful. It sucks when you can’t take anything.

When I had a cold when I was pregnant the one thing that helped me with a cough was drinking chamomile tea with a generous amount of honey it only stopped the cough for so long but better than nothing if you're looking for medicine ask your OBGYN they will always recommend the medicine that you can take over the counter

Justttt got over my cold. I’ve had covid and this felt 10x worse. It’s been about 2 weeks and I’m just now today feeling well enough to go out and about. Husband and baby have it now too 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hi, I’m from Milan. many others future mums with cold during pregnancy told me that they got over it making some garlic boiled with milk and then drinking the infusion. Seems like it really is a very strong natural remedy against cold.
