I am pretty sure my incision is infected at one spot. I waited through the weekend because it looked a bit better, it was Thanksgiving weekend so I’d not be able to get to my doctor likely and have to go to the ET, and I was hopeful it was just irritated not infected. I’m going to call my Dr first thing tomorrow.

I’m wondering for those who got an infection how long it took for antibiotics to get rid of the problem spot before it started to heal up again. What kind of antibiotics were you given (oral, IV, etc?)? How bad was your infection and did it go deep or superficial? I’m just stressed now seeing it’s worse and wishing I had been able to get in sooner or just requested antibiotics to begin with but it’s too late now 😔😭🥺🙏
