NST(Question at the end)
I got sent for a NST today after my appointment STRICTLY for my BMI. I do not have any other complications during my pregnancy. I passed my glucose test with flying colors, my B/P is always “perfect”, and with my first pregnancy I never had to do a NST until I went over my DD. I did see a new OB today so I’m thinking that may be why, different doctor different “standards”. And although “everything looked beautiful” (quote the doctor), my TOCO reading during the NST stayed between 30-40. I’ve tried looking up what a normal baseline is for the TOCO reading but I’m not coming up with anything other than how it works. (It’s what measures your contractions.) So my question is, has anybody else had a “high” TOCO baseline? Or was I just seriously non-stop contracting and not really feeling it?
