Anyone else on Clomid with PCOS?

So I’m super confused. I’ve called my OBGYN, but my question still hasn’t been fully answered.

I have PCOS, and I don’t have periods naturally. For the past four years, I’ve been on the pill for the simple fact of forcing myself to have periods.

When I first was prescribed Clomid, I was confused and taking my birth control at the same time. 🤦🏻‍♀️

My MIL told me that didn’t sound right, so I called my nurse who told me I should NOT be taking them together because they contradict each other.

Fast forward to this month, my first month not taking birth control. It’s time for my period, and I’m not having one (I’m not pregnant, my husband has been out of town since my last period).

So my question is…how am I supposed to take this Clomid if I’m not even having periods?!
