When did you have sex postpartum?

Just wondering when others felt ready for sex after baby. I know everyone is different but I'm just curious. With my first I was a single mom about didn't have sex for over a year after, now I just had my second and I'm almost 6 weeks postpartum and feel ready to get it on, although I'm waiting to get an IUD back in.

7 weeks post partum, I waited for the all clear from my OB. Honestly could have waited longer. Damn speculum didnt hurt during my exam (I had a 2nd degree tear internally and externally) figured I can handle a speculum, I can handle a penis... didn't account for friction and movement 🤦‍♀️ my bits were still really sore. 
Likewise I'm at the could go into labor anytime now point this pregnancy. I'll wait until the all clear and then maybe longer if I feel my body needs it. Sorry to my hubs but I'm not rushing my recovery this time. Definitely going to listen to my body this go around.

I had a c section and stopped bleeding at the three week mark. I had sex at 28 days postpartum. We couldn’t wait and I missed the sex

I’m waiting until after my 6 week pp appointment before we have sex but I’m definitely excited about it. I had an emergency c-section due to placental abruption and I’m now 4 weeks pp and still recovering. I might not be fully physically up to sex at 6 weeks but I hope I am because I could use a little roll in the sheets… in the meantime, my husband and I are “amusing” each other in different ways.

3 weeks because I just wanted it and I hadn’t bled in a week. Obviously unsafe!! But we were ready and I had no pain (I had a first degree clitoral tear)
