Hey mamas! Anyone else have a babe who likes to sleep face down at night? Like our LO will literally bury his face with his hands on each side and mouth/nose pushed into the mattress (he sleeps in the bassinet portion of a pack n play so the mattress is super firm). Our pediatrician said that we need to reposition him when he does this due to the SIDS risk which means we are literally not sleeping more than a couple broken hours. I’m too terrified to fall asleep and even when I do the slightest stir from baby wakes me which is usually because he has rolled in to his tummy/face, I’ll roll him back and he gets pissed then it’s 20 minutes of soothing followed by letting him sleep on my chest until he is in a deeper sleep otherwise the second he is laid down he is crying. Then my husband takes a shift but neither of us really sleep. Sorry this turned into more of a vent post lol! We juuuuust got through the 4 month sleep regression/initial teething phase and now this 😫😫 send help haha my husband and I may never sleep again!
