Just wanted to share my experience with my prescreening at 12 + 4.

I did my bloodwork for the eFTS and within 5 days my midwife called and said I screened positive for DS 1/12.

Funny thing is, I didn’t have a worry in the world because the ultrasound was perfect. My little bean was PERFECT!

I was devastated and blanked out during the entire call. I had to call back in the evening to ask what she had said. It’s not the news I was expecting at all. She advised what the next steps were.

I received a call from the geneticist two days later and she explained my results and told me I would now need to proceed with the NIPT test.

I did the test Oct 1 and received my results today. It was a long 14 days of prayer and waiting.

I am reporting that my Results came back in as 1/10,000!!!!

WON’T HE DO IT!!!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾🎉

I cried on the phone with the geneticist for 2m 47s and she stayed in silence and allowed me to give GOD praise.

All this to say, don’t lose hope. Keep the faith, keep on praying. Jer 29:11, Rom 8:28.
