3 months post ectopic

So I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy that led to me losing my left tube back in July & im probably jumping the gun here but im just 2 days late for my period im hoping that i am pregnant. But it seems like my doctor doesnt think its a good idea to try to conceive in general which honestly makes me feel uncomfortable to speak to her. I asked her when would the chances of a ectopic happening again lower so i good try conceiving & she answered saying “the chances will never lower” & how i have one good tube & i should protect it. My thought is. What is the point of having this one good tube if i can never try to use it?
