3 miscarriages, what will doctor do to help me stay pregnant?

Hi Ladies, 
I thought I’d come on here to see if anyone had experienced the same. I have suffered 2 missed miscarriage and a chemical within a year. I am nearly 35. I see a lot of US women speak about clomid and progesterone but from what I can see that is when struggling to get pregnant, my issue seems to be staying pregnant. 
Has anyone had a similar experience and can advise what UK doctors will do for me?

Yes get a referral for multiple miscarriages. So sorry you’ve been through this. They should do bloods as soon as you’re pregnant & check progesterone levels. You may be put on pessaries for first trimester & have early scans. If you can afford it you may want to consider going to a private fertility clinic as they are faster & have the ability to do more / suggest different options. Good luck!

See ur doctor. They should be able to refer u for tests to see if there’s any underlying reason that’s stopping u having a successful pregnancy.

I had a really short leutal phase (the time after ovulation and before period). I never saught any treatment via my Dr. but started taking vitex (I bought it off Amazon) and that same cycle I fell pregnant. I don't know it'll help in your circumstance, but it may be worth looking in to xx

Your GP should at this point refer you to a recurrent miscarriage clinic. I suffered 3 miscarriages (2 MMC  and 1 chemical) and was referred when I was 41.
The clinic did bloodwork for both my husband and I which all returned as nothing abnormal. I was put on baby aspirin from the day of my first appointment,  we were just about to do ultrasound scans to check if there was anything wrong with my uterus but we conceived before the appointment. 
I continued on baby aspirin throughout the pregnancy. We had scans every week until 16 weeks at the recurrent miscarriage clinic and then were referred back to the regular clinic. Our little boy arrived safely in March 2020 and is now 19 months old. We are currently trying for another baby.

As soon as you get pregnant again speak to your gp and ask for an appointment at the early pregnancy clinic to have a scan. They will give you a scan from 6 weeks and check your blood, and then they will go from there if your progesterone levels are a little lower they will give you some tablets. I hope this helps x
