UTI on period
Every time I get my period I always end up with a uti. I change my tampons regularly and I clean myself well. I have seen 4 OB’s and midwifes (plus 3 different doctors at a hospital) and they all do/say the same things. They prescribed me medication to take when I start my period that I also have to take 30 mins before/after intercourse. It doesn’t work at all. Me and my husband are very clean people and every time before intercourse we always take a shower just to make sure we are super clean. I always pee and clean after as well. It’s super frustrating because I constantly have a UTI. It’s been a year and a half of a UTI. I’ve had my doctors recommend the best methods/soaps to use and nothing seems to work. I honestly have no idea what to do and it’s really messing with my life. I never leave my house because of how often I use the restroom. Could there be another reason that I constantly have a UTI? What do I do? I would really appreciate any help
***please don’t comment things like “you should clean better” I can not stress this enough, me and my husband clean ourselves very well. My doctors had me describe how I clean and they all said that how I was doing it was getting the job done***
