Baby girl is here! ❤ 2nd VBAC success!

Mo • Mama ×3 ❤

Baby girl did not want to make an appearance. We were at 40 + 1 yesterday when she failed her NST. We headed to the hospital right away because they recommended that I deliver. Got to the hospital at about 4:00. Didn't get a triage room until 4:30. Doctors talked about inducing because I was at 2cm, posterior and firm. Finally got into a labor room at 1:30 a.m. We live a bit of ways from the hospital so my husband was outside/in the car from 4:00p.m until they allowed him in around 1:50 a.m. Started pitocin at 5:00 a.m. after no change. To make a long story short, water broke at about 3:15 p.m (4 cm). Contractions started slowly getting stronger. Around 4:30 I had horrible pressure. I felt like she was coming and I was right! I was at 10cm. Her head was right there! Pushed for about 10-15 minutes. Cried, told them I couldn't do it, really didn't want to do it but I got it done. My sweet girl is here. She looks like our 2nd daughter but with black hair. Yesterday they estimated she'd be 8 pounds 14 Oz but she's 7 pounds 9oz. My back hurts and I am exhausted. It is almost 9:00 and my husband went to get me some well deserved Popeyes after over 24 hours of liquid only diet (and not being told until like 15 hours in). Anyways, everything went great. We are great. I am so happy I got my 2nd VBAC and my baby is here. Good luck to everyone 💓
