5 losses and dealing with anxiety and depression and fear
Hi my names Natalie, I’m 32 years a lot.
Got married in 2017 got pregnant right away and has a miscarriage at 12 weeks. Tried again a few months later got pregnant again lost the second baby at 11 weeks. After, I had my doctor check inside my uterus and found I had a long thick septum. Met with a fertility specialist and she removed it. It took about 2 surgeries and once to go back in to shave a little more. Then I got pregnant but there was no baby in the sac. So next time we tried I was advised to take metformin before conceiving and during pregnancy in the first trimester to help with healthy eggs. Then I got pregnant with my 4th and my water broke at 17 weeks due to a competent cervix. So next pregnancy I was told at 13 weeks I would get a cerclage inserted to help my cervix. Recently Aug 1 I lost my 5th baby at 22 weeks. The cerclage failed membranes were poking through and within a day I started having really bad contractions. We aren’t sure if my contractions causes the cervix to open or if I was already dilated which trigger my contractions because I was 3cm dilated but had no pain what so ever. First I was told my uterus may have a issue with contracting and not being able to stop it. However, i Met with another specialist to see if I’m a candidate for a high cerclage insert and he said yes. I was told I’d have a 95% chance of making it to 36 weeks. He also agreed we don’t know what came first to cause what happened with my cervix. I’m praying and hoping this procedure of a high cerclage inserted at the top of my cervix lower if my abdominal will get me and baby safely to full term.
