Bleeding?

I called my OB over the weekend,  im 12 days PP and still having bright red bleeding. He told me to call in today, has anyone else not had their bleeding slow down?

I think you’re okay. I was stressed by my bleeding too bc the hospital/google makes it seem like you should be done the whole lochia process in like 2 weeks. I’m almost 4weeks pp and just getting into that “pink/brown” serosa phase now. But if you read online personal accounts so many people bleed much longer than what the “dr.” Says.
More activity causes more bleeding so just remember to take it easy. That helped me. I was doing too much too soon.
Seems like the biggest concern is if you bleed through a pad in an hour, or have big clots. Otherwise its just a waiting game and everyone is a bit different!

I bled for 8 weeks pp mostly bright red blood but I think it slowed down from bright red to brown at about 4-5 weeks. And then I got my period at 11 weeks PP even with EBF. I also got a uterine infection around 3days pp and I think that really messed stuff up for me.

I bled for 7 weeks after my baby was born. The 8th week was a 10 day period. My periods have already returned like clock work and I'm 14 weeks PP. I'm sure you'll be okay but if you are still are concerned go to your doctor and have them check you.

I bled for like 9 weeks with my first. 
Im 12 days PP from a c section now and still bleeding. 12 days is nothing, most people bleed for weeks.

I bled for almost 22 days after my baby was born. I hope it stops soon for you.
