I (23f) met him (24m) online a few months ago, he was staying in LA which is how his profile was presented to me. Clicked and spent the last of his months here in LA together. Moves back to Portland, Oregon and he’s been gone for like 3 weeks now. We talk everyday and obviously know that trips to visit one another would be made, however he’s been making it known that he would much rather have me visit him up there.

Just now we touched on the topic again and he straight out said if I can go up there cause he doesn’t want to go to Cali. Is this a red flag? I don’t mind visiting him up there but will I always have to be the one making the long drive/plane ride to see him? Does he not care for me as much to come and visit me for a little, despite not liking California?

Am I just over thinking this? It’s my first relationship and I already lost virginity to him.
