Anyone’s else’s family NEVER GET ALONG while living together, as kids and even as adults?

I swear everyone in my family is like oil and water. I don’t even know how so many different people can be part of the same dna. It honestly makes me feel really bad, and since I’ve always tried to be more neutral with everyone, everyone comes to ME as the dumping grounds for complaints about another person, and they always want me to be on “their side”. It’s exhausting and makes me feel disappointed in my family. Why can we all just be united?? We’ve all been through so much crap together…
Anyone else relate?

Eh well I don't particularly care for my step sisters and I'm always being left out of stuff by my biological sisters... I love them but they often do things by themselves or with my stepsister and not include me so that kind of sucks.
I don't like my one cousin at all. She was a little too obvious about a crush she had on my husband and I've never quite gotten over that, moreso because she acted like I was the problem and also stopped including me in things, like she invited my sisters to her birthday party two years back and I never got an invite.
I'm a very, very introverted person so I tend to keep to myself and decline a lot of invites so that probably doesn't help my case.

I have 3 brothers and someone always has beef with someone. They all still live at home but I’ve been on my own for years. Looking back I have no idea how I survived living with all of them.

Tell them you don't want to be involved in the drama. If they don't stop, distance yourself. You have to put yourself first.

My grandparents had a super bad divorce 35 years ago and can't even be in the same state. My grandmother likes to rant about my grandfather, I always just tell her to not let minor things get to her but she doesn't listen, I just put the phone down now when she starts because I can't deal with the drama.
