Does there have to be a reason to WHY you love someone?

I asked my husband why he loved me and he said “I don’t really have an answer I just know I love you” and that bothered me.

Asking somebody why they love you can be extremely panicking. It's hard to come up with an answer when somebody just puts you on the spot like that. It sounds like you're being really insecure and asked him out of nowhere and he couldn't come up with an answer on the top of his head rightfully so.

Some people aren’t good with putting their emotions into words or describing feelings. Accept that he’s saying he loves you and move on. You’re making an issue out of nothing

I don’t think so.  My husband will ask me this and I hate it when he does. I personally panic thinking I have to have this great answer and then can’t think of anything & he ends up offended every time.

I think there does.. if it wasn't for my husband being gentle and kind with me.. or being brilliant with our daughter.. I wouldn't love him as much as I do.
I think there are also reasons not to be in love with someone too.

I really don’t like this question. 
I used to ask it and my s/o would ask me. But I can’t think on the spot like that. And I suck at saying my emotions. But I truly know I love him. That’s just how it is sometimes.

I asked my fiance and he came up with a lot of reasons that seem silly. He said he loves that I am a mom to our kids even though they arent his by blood I gave him two amazing kids... The way I play with our dogs and make him laugh. How I hold his hand while he drives. He said its a million tiny things that add up to make his heart feel like I am the best choice he ever made. 🤷 I mean he has those and I have the way he took on being a dad when he didn't have to. How he comforts them and plays with them. Seeing him on our floor having our daughter style his hair while our son plays trucks with him is the best thing ever. Even when our dogs sneak up and lick his ear or face and fall in his lap. Sometimes if you sit back and really look at the tiny moments that seem insignificant they amass all the reasons we love.

My husband and I literally had a similar conversation and we both had the same answer, we don’t know why we love each other, we just know that we love each other and that’s fine.

No, in fact, that’s a horrible position to put someone in. 
There are usually 1000 little reasons we love someone. I’d freeze up too if my husband asked.
