When are you telling?

If this isn’t your first baby, when are you telling people? I had no issues with my first pregnancy and want to tell my best friends and maybe parents/in laws around 6 weeks when I see my mom (she lives out of town) in person. But I also feel that weird pressure to wait. I would want support if something bad happened, so don’t see the reason to wait.

I told as soon as i found out this time around. I had a early miscarriage back in 2019 and really didn't have much support besides my husband to get through it. I wanted to tell early so that way i had a support system behind me, and i want to be excited for this pregnancy and enjoy it rather than worrying about keeping my pregnancy a secret until 12 weeks. Everyone is different and you shouldn't feel pressure to announce or to not announce, do things at your own pace!

Telling the rest of the family and friends that we haven’t yet on Thanksgiving, everyone else on Christmas. 
I’m wondering if I should tell my boss because I’m struggling with some prenatal depression and want to take some time off of work.

We are going to tell everyone around Christmas, that's about when my second trimester starts. I have had a few miscarriages and personally just like enjoying it by ourselves for a while. I also just think a Christmas card announcement will be cute and fun

I told my in laws & my close family very shortly after finding out (4 weeks) but im waiting to accounce publicly until i find out the gender. (This is my second baby)

This will be our third kiddo, and last pregnancy. 
With the other two.. my first I told my mom right away because I was 17 and scared, so I was around 6 something weeks. With our second we waited until after the first ultrasound and did an announcement with the adoption party (my husband adopted my first kid) which was at 11 weeks. 
With this one we’ll wait until thanksgiving to do something cute or funny while we have everyone together. Since everyone lives states apart, it will be a good time to get everyone. 
I’m going to see about my options on a hysterectomy after this kiddo, I have to deliver by cesarean and I’m just done with that.

We told our parents only a week after we found out ourselves! I’ve had to tell my boss because of leaving work for blood tests, but we’re going to wait until 12 weeks to announce officially. 
I had a full out panic attack after telling the first time, I felt like I’d broken some rule! But we are elated about this baby, and want our loved ones to share in our joy no matter what happens 💜

I am definitely waiting after my 12 weeks scan. I had a MMC the last time and didn’t know until then. I am hoping and praying everything is well, if so I’m thinking around Thanksgiving 😃

I’m 4 weeks and 2 days and we will be telling my in laws and mom this weekend 😂 I can trust my families not to make it about them IF we miscarry and I also CANNOT trust my mother in law to not say something if she notices me being “off” at all. That woman knows everything haha. We see her 1-3 times a week so…gotta spill! With our first, we waited for the 9 week point to tell everyone in person (during Christmas) and it was torture waiting!

I've always felt the same way, about wanting the support so I tell everyone I'm super close to right away. (My husband, mom, best friends, step-dad)
Then I tell everyone else later after a confirmed heartbeat. That ultrasound will be @ 9 weeks and some days for me.
