Do you automatically change your toddler when they’re dirty or wet?

My toddler spills things all over himself like 10 times a day -.- and I change his clothes each damn time and im wondering if other moms do this?? Hes 15mos
Especially if he spills water on his clothes. Im scared he’ll get a cold or something?? Is that illogical lol its so exhausting tbh

Depends on what it is and if it’s bothering him. Sticky or stains, I change right away but if it’s just water or food/dirt I leave it unless we go somewhere. 
Now my second is autistic and HATES being wet or dirty so I have to change him a million times a day per his choice.

I guess it would depend. If it was a large amount yes I would change him each time, or if it was juice I wouldn’t want him to get sticky. But if it was a little water that might’ve dribbled from his mouth and got on his shirt, and I knew we weren’t going somewhere I wouldn’t change it.

If it’s just a small or non-staining spill, like a little dribble of water I usually don’t. But if it’s a huge spill or something that will stain or transfer to the floor or furniture I change my toddler’s clothes. Sometimes that means going through a few outfits by lunchtime.

Depends on how much and what it was. Being wet doesn’t bother my son. I have to push him to let me get him changed.

I change if he's soaked or had a super messy meal. If it's just a little bit of water or food I'll wipe the food up so it doesn't get the house dirty but I won't change him 🤷‍♀️ max I change him 4 times and that's rare. It's usually once or twice

I change clothes every time unless is very close to bath time and then I just wait
