There was a bit of an issue with my birth control script being filled this month. I started my period on Thursday and couldn’t get my script refilled until Monday. I took a pill that same day as I normally would. My husband and I were being careful, but we stopped being careful on Thursday. I had been on the pill for 4 days at that point and everything I’ve read says that if you start the pill within 5 days after the start of your period you’re good, otherwise you need to wait 7 days. I’m just a little nervous because I started the pill again on the 5th day after my period. Any advice? If I’m pregnant it’s not a huge deal, I just wanted to wait a bit longer.
