Hi everyone! I'm a little sad that I am joining this group, but happy to see that I'm not alone in this. I have had a great pregnancy, first trimester was difficult with extreme nausea, but that was my only problem. I went in for my anatomy scan on Thursday and baby boy looked great, even measured at 23+3, a week ahead of schedule! Then they looked at my cervix. It's been an emotional rollercoaster since then. I have a short cervix (2cm) and am dilated at 1cm. After a specialist looked at my ultrasound (what I thought was only going to be a 30-45 minute visit turned to 2.5 hours), they told me I had to go to labor and delivery for an overnight stay. Thankfully I didn't have any contractions, no bleeding, and my water hasn't broke, so they sent me home and started me on 200mg progesterone vaginal suppositories and I have to see a high risk doctor at least once a week (next week I have 2 visits). I am pretty scared and very nervous, this is my first pregnancy that was 4 years in the making, so I just wanted to vent to all the complete strangers in this group :)
